I'm visiting my grandparents right now, I've been here since Thursday. It's a lot of fun, I don't even miss being able to smoke pot like I thought I might. I think I'm staying til Wednesday.
Tonight we went to the Sawdust theater, where they have melodramas and olios. You know that type of play where there's usually a villian in a black top hat with a huge mustache who ends up tying a damsel in distress to railroad tracks or something before the big hero comes and saves her? That's the sort of thing they do at the Sawdust theater. And it's completely audience participatory, everyone boos and hisses at the villians and oohs and aahs at the good guys, you can yell advice to the characters too. In between acts are the olios, guys in funny hats and ladies dressed up in foofy frilly can-can dresses who dance badly or put on short musical comedy skits. It was totally cool, I had a lot of fun.

oh well. You're having fun. In any case omg I so saw something just like you're talking about, it was zorro. I searched to see if I could find my ticket but couldn't, b/c it's possible we saw it at the same place (I dunno how many there are around there). Audience participatory indeed. Totally cool dude.

Yeah, definitely staying til Wednesday, and I miss you too, but you'd be at work Monday and Tuesday anyhow, and I figure I'd have to be insane if I cashed in two more days in a state of near paradise with my fairy godparents for two extra days of empty video games and pot-smoking that I can have any old time (and I'll have, like, four and half days of that before going to work again next Monday anyway). But Wednesday's your day off, so you'll be sure to be there, which is good, because as good as I'm doing without pot here, you can can guarantee that I'm going to want to get BAKED!!! when I get home. I mean, I'll have been, like, almost six days without it. Well, more like five, really, Thursday doesn't get to count, since I smoked two chillum bowls in your room that morning, and that was just before Amy showed up and I loaded another bowl while she put hash on top and we smoked that before Grandma and Grandpa came, so I was high much of the rest of the day. OOOOOHHH! That reminds me! She left some chunks of hash with me, enough to top off several bowls, so we'll get to have that for a nice treat.
I'm having so much fun here, it's like the Pure Lands or something, the days don't even feel like days, I still almost feel like I just got here yesterday, and it's at the end of three and a half days. I haven't felt this relaxed in a year or more, no joke, and that's wonderful when you add the fact that it's also probably the longest I've gone without drugs in a year or more. Except for my nicotine of course, oh and that's another awesome thing, since my grandparents know I smoke, I get to enjoy smoking on their AWESOME back porch. Between the last sentence and this one I moved outside to do that. With the wireless router here, I can go outside with the internet. It has a swinging bench that's padded and soft, more like a swinging couch really, and an overhang and a hedge that makes it so that it's always cool and shaded, and strong gusts of wind are transfored into gentle breezes.
This place rocks.
